FAB names Mayor & Mrs. Gray honorary co-chairs

Mayor Rick Gray and his wife Gail have been strong allies of the LGBT community in Lancaster.

In April 2011, Mayor Gray announced a policy extending health and other benefits to same-sex domestic partners of Lancaster city employees. Referencing the city’s stated commitments to diversity, equality, and fairness, Gray called the policy “the right and fair thing to do.” The policy allows city employees to seek the same health care and other employment benefits for their same-sex partners that have been available to employees and retirees with spouses.

Mayor Gray was sworn in for his first term as mayor of Lancaster in 2006, and was reelected for a second term in 2009.

Aortic Valve to headline FAB 2011

Aortic Valve is the collaborative effort of audio/visual artists Evolution and VJCA. Their unique and exciting art is sure to get your feet moving! Seamlessly blending funk, soul, hip-hop, raggae, classic and indie rock, electro, and a little bit of everything in between, Evolution holds down the turntables and caters to the ears while VJCA presents the eyes with an improvisational mix of original, popular, and spectacular imagery projected larger than life. Aortic Valve combines music and video to produce a simultaneous stream of stimulation.
